a little more about working with us . . .
We work tirelessly to help you access the supports and services that are right for your needs.
It’s our business to understand the NDIS legislation, operational guidelines, how to get you the best plan, the best way to implement that plan and get the most bang for your buck! That’s exactly what we do.
We work to reduce your stress levels. While we can’t take away your challenges, we can reduce them and we will always walk beside you.
We do not give up, we will not walk away just because things get to tough.
When in crisis, be sure to know you are in the best hands. We work as a team and coordinate the response so you don’t have to.
We build effective relationships with NDIS Planners, Local Area Coordinators (LAC’s), Providers, Medical Professionals and other Government Departments to ensure you get the best coordinated support possible.
We are committed to getting you meaningful outcomes that are positively life changing.
Work with us when and where you need – in our offices, on the phone, in your home or online via video or instant messages.
Hi and Welcome!
I am Cassie, Director of The Carers Place.
I parent two teenage boys and have been a carer for my eldest son Matthew for more than 18 years.
Matthew has multiple diagnosis’ including Cystic Fibrosis, Autism Spectrum Disorder and an Acquired Brain Injury being his primary challenges.
I started The Carers Place to provide a positive safe place of support for other carers and parents who felt totally isolated through circumstance or location. It was a way that we could support one another with the goal of providing the best care for those we love.
We have an amazing opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and share in the triumphs and celebrations that are so unique to us.
I wanted to create a place where we could give ourselves permission to let go of the heaviness, have fun and enjoy the lighter side of life.
Over time our services have developed to supporting people living with disability. Informal carers and siblings are not always provided with the support or care they need. That’s where we are different.
My own experience with navigating the NDIS (including starting out with my head in the sand) and 18 years within the Health sector has provided me with valuable experience to apply when supporting you.
I am so excited you have found us. If you are interested in learning more about Support Coordination, check out the ‘Services’ page up the top. Alternatively, I invite you to come join us in the Facebook community!
